The free calculator runs entirely in your browser. Tools by Ryan does not require an account and does not collect the hotel figures you enter.
The website is delivered through Vercel. Vercel can process necessary technical request, security and log data to keep the site secure and available.
Tools by Ryan uses a self-hosted Umami installation to measure page views, traffic sources and anonymous product actions, such as opening a tool, using the calculator or starting checkout. Umami uses no cookies. Hotel figures, email addresses, payment details, download codes and typed text are not sent.
Purchases, payment details, fraud prevention and receipts are processed by Polar as merchant of record. Tools by Ryan does not receive your full card details. Polar processes payments through its payment partners; their own privacy terms apply for checkout and transaction support.
After purchase, Tools by Ryan uses the Polar checkout and a secure browser code to control access to the full Hotel Deal Planner. The code is stored in an HttpOnly cookie, cannot be read by site scripts and is renewed for one year whenever access succeeds. The server rechecks the Polar order whenever the web app is opened. For automatic access recovery, only a hash of the purchase email is linked to the checkout; a short recovery email may be sent through a transactional email provider. Manual support is available at toolsbyryan@protonmail.com. When automatic updates are enabled, a Mac app stores a product-specific credential in your macOS Keychain. Support information you provide is used only to handle your question or product issue.
